To obtain a collision (accident) report:

1. At your local district station
Your local Montgomery County Police District Station provides collision reports 24-hours daily. However, it takes approximately 3-5 days after the accident to process the report. Please call your district station ahead of time to make sure the report is ready. Each report is $10.00. District Stations accept cash only.
2. At Police Headquarters, Information and Support Analysis Division
Police Headquarters (100 Edison Park Drive, Gaithersburg) also provides collision reports Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Please call Headquarters ahead of time (240-773-5330) to make sure the report is ready. Headquarters accepts cash, check, and money order.
3. Purchase Online
To obtain all other reports (burglary, theft, etc.):

Send the request form along with a self-addressed stamped envelope and a check or money order for $10 (made payable to Montgomery County Police). If mailing the request, mail to “Montgomery County Police Headquarters, ISAD” at 100 Edison Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.
