(LOCATED) Silver Alert Issued for Missing Potomac Area Man

Update: November 9 at 6:30 p.m. – Chung Kuang Cheng has been located safe and unharmed.  He has been reunited with family and the Silver Alert has been canceled.

Detectives from the 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Potomac area man.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 87-year-old Chung Kuang Cheng.

Chung Kuang Cheng (who also goes by the first name of “Jack”) from Buckspark Lane, was last seen at approximately 11:10 this morning (Friday, November 8) when he left a business located in the 11900 block of Rockville Pike in North Bethesda driving his 2006 green Mercedes-Benz S430 with Maryland tags: 1BKR15.  His family has been unable to contact him since that time.

Chung Kuang Cheng is described as an Asian male who is 5’11″ tall and weighs 156 pounds. He has white hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a beige coat, dark green or gray pants, and tennis shoes.

Anyone with information regarding Chung Kuang Cheng’s whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.

Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Locating Missing Germantown Woman (LOCATED)

Update: November 7, 2019 – Susan Marie Arenales has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking the public for help in locating a missing Germantown woman.

SUSAN MARIE ARENALES, age 27, stands at 5’2″ tall, and weighs approximately 165 lbs.  She has blue eyes and blond hair.  Arenales was last seen on October 30 at her place of employment.
On November 6, co-workers responded to her residence in the 20700 block of Crystal Hill Circle in Germantown to check on her.  Arenales was not home and her whereabouts are unknown.
Police and family are concerned for her well-being.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Susan Marie Arenales is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).

Silver Alert issued for Missing Man (LOCATED)

Harold Dean Dawkins

UPDATE: 11/4/19 @ 3:18 p.m. – Harold Dean Dawkins has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing man with dementia.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 69-year-old Harold Dean Dawkins from Bowie, Maryland.

Mr. Dawkins, from Arbor Park Place, was last known to be driving his 2016 black Chevrolet Impala displaying Maryland tags: 1CW8658 in the area of the Old Anglers Inn (located at 10801 Macarthur Boulevard in Potomac) at approximately 10:30 this morning (Monday, November 4).  Mr. Dawkins’ family has been unable to contact him since that time.

Mr. Dawkins is described as an African American male who is 5’10″ tall and weighs 235 pounds. He has gray hair, brown eyes, and a gray beard.  Mr. Dawkins was last seen wearing a dark baseball hat and a dark green jacket over a maroon shirt.

Anyone with information regarding Harold Dean Dawkins’ whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.

Concern for Missing Germantown Man (LOCATED)

October 30, 2019: Han Pham has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the 5th District Investigative Section are asking the public for help in locating a missing Germantown man.

Han Pham, age 45, was last seen at approximately 2:00 a.m., yesterday (Saturday, October 26) when he left his Rushing Water Way home on foot.

Pham is described as an Asian male, 5’9″ tall, and weighing 140 pounds.  He has brown eyes and collar-length black hair.  He was last seen wearing a brown fleece jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Han Pham is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).

Concern for Missing North Bethesda Man with Dementia (LOCATED)

Update: October 26 at 7:45 p.m. – Mr. Covey has been located safe and unharmed.

The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 84-year-old North Bethesda man who has dementia.

Glen Richard Covey was last seen by family at approximately 10:30 a.m., this morning (Saturday, October 26) when he left his Village Square Terrace home on foot.

Covey is described as a white male who is approximately 5’11″ tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.  He has brown eyes and white hair.  Covey was last seen wearing a khaki jacket over a green shirt, khaki pants, and black tennis shoes.

Anyone with information regarding Glen Richard Covey’s whereabouts or anyone who sees him is asked to call the Montgomery County Department of Police at 301-279-8000.
