Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate three armed robberies of CVS Pharmacies believed to be committed by the same suspect.
- On Sunday, October 21, at approximately 9:55 p.m., 2321 University Boulevard West, Wheaton.
- On Sunday, November 18, at approximately 10:10 p.m., 10141 Colesville Road, Silver Spring.
- On Sunday, January 27 at approximately 9:30 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to the CVS Pharmacy located at 10141 Colesville Road for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. The investigation by detectives revealed that the suspect entered the CVS, displayed a handgun, and confronted the two adult male clerks who were working in the store. The suspect threatened the clerks and demanded that the clerks to open the store’s safe. The clerks complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect stole currency from the safe and then fled.
