Concern for Missing 86-Year-Old Man

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department- 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man from Silver Spring.

Kim Eng Chamtarit, age 86, of the 8100 block of Bonaire Court in Silver Spring, was last seen in his home at approximately 7:30 this morning.  Mr. Chamtarit does not have access to a vehicle but does use public transportation.

Mr. Chamtarit is described as an Asian male, approximately 5’ 07” tall, and weighing 117 pounds.  He has gray hair that is cut short and has brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a tan hat, khaki pants, a black jacket, and black shoes.

Mr. Chamtarit has limited English skills and has speech difficulties.  Family and police are concerned for Mr. Chamtarit’s well-being.

Concern for Missing Juvenile

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police-Family Crimes Division are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Bethesda juvenile.

Leila Anne Khalil, age 17, of the 4000 block of Broad Brook Drive in Bethesda, was last seen on Monday, March 24.  Leila is described as a white female, approximately 5’04” tall, 130 pounds, with brown eyes, and long brown hair.  She frequents the Kensington and Bethesda areas and is very familiar with public transportation.  Her family has not heard from her since she went missing on Monday.

Police and family are concerned for Leila’s welfare because of her age and because she has a health condition that needs to be monitored.

Suspect Wanted for Armed Robbery of 7-Eleven

RonzellHunterDetectives from the Montgomery County Police – Major Crimes Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for an armed robbery that occurred in Gaithersburg.

On March 7, at approximately 11:31 p.m., 6th District officers and Gaithersburg Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 418 Allied Place for a report of a robbery that had just occurred.  Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the store armed with a handgun.  The suspect vaulted the counter and ordered a store employee to open the register.  The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, again vaulted the counter, and fled from the store.

Through further investigation, detectives developed Ronzell Fonte Hunter, age 24, of an unknown address as the suspect in this robbery.  On March 13, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Hunter charging him with one count of armed robbery.  Since that time, detectives have been unable to locate Hunter and are now asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.
