Today at 5:19 p.m., 5th District patrol officers were dispatched to a residence in the 24100 block of Newbury Road after a woman called 911 to report that her daughter’s boyfriend had become violent and was damaging the house.  The caller and her daughter were able to leave the house prior to police arrival.

The suspect’s identity and charges will be released at a later time.

As is standard procedure, the involved officer, a 9-year veteran of the department, has been placed on paid, administrative leave pending the outcome of this investigation.
